Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 May 2026

1. Who we are

Neural DSP YouTube Analytics (“the App”) is a private, invitation-only analytics dashboard operated by Resonate on behalf of Neural DSP Plugins Oy (“Neural DSP”). It is used internally by Neural DSP’s marketing team to analyse the performance of videos published on the official Neural DSP YouTube channel.

For any questions about this policy or to make a data request, contact ben.minal@gmail.com.

2. Data we access through Google APIs

When an authorised Neural DSP team member signs into the App with their Google account, the App requests the following Google API scopes:

  • youtube.readonly — read-only access to public metadata for videos on the Neural DSP YouTube channel (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, view counts, publish dates).
  • yt-analytics.readonly — read-only access to non-monetary YouTube Analytics reports (impressions, click-through rate, average view duration, audience retention, traffic sources, end-screen performance).

The App does not request monetary or revenue scopes and does not access earnings, ad performance, or RPM/CPM data.

The App also stores the signed-in user’s email address (from Google) to verify they are on the approved Neural DSP team allowlist. No other Google profile information is collected.

3. How we use this data

The data is used solely to:

  • Display performance analytics for the Neural DSP YouTube channel inside the App.
  • Detect and surface changes to video titles and thumbnails over time.
  • Score videos against an internal performance framework to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Verify that the signed-in user is on the approved access allowlist.

The data is never used for advertising, sold, rented, or shared with third parties. The App contains no third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising code.

4. Where data is stored

YouTube channel data and user email addresses are stored in a private Supabase Postgres database hosted in the EU (London region). Access to this database is restricted to the App’s service credentials and to the App’s operator (Resonate). The database is not publicly accessible.

The App is hosted on Vercel. No raw Google user data is logged or cached outside the database.

5. Data retention

YouTube channel data is retained for as long as the App is operating, to enable historical analysis (the dashboard relies on comparing snapshots over time). User email records are retained while the user is on the access allowlist and deleted when they are removed.

You may request deletion of any data we hold about you at any time by contacting ben.minal@gmail.com. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Revoking access

You can revoke the App’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once revoked, the App can no longer fetch new data on your behalf. Any data already stored will be deleted on request (see section 5).

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

The App’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Changes to this policy

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance.
